Practical notes

The digital SIM notebook

Prepare for installation, transfer and recovery before touching a working profile.

Compatibility first

Confirm the exact model and regional version with the manufacturer and provider. The same marketing name can cover different hardware variants. An EID is a useful clue, but account eligibility and provider support still matter.

A calm installation sequence

Arrange a stable Wi-Fi connection and access to the official account. Use the activation code supplied directly by the provider. Keep the old service available for verification until the provider’s instructions say otherwise.

Moving to a new phone

A handset transfer can require a replacement profile or an approved device transfer. A QR code is not necessarily reusable. Do not assume that restoring a phone backup reinstalls every mobile subscription.

If installation fails

Write down the error and check whether a profile is already installed. Repeated scans or deleting a working profile can complicate recovery. Ask the provider for its exact recovery process; deleting a profile does not cancel the contract.
